Logan lives a blistering existence with his deaf mother Mary. His not so distant future is riddled with heat waves and worldwide shortage. The government rations drinking water and rumor has it, Logan’s been stealing more than his fair share. The resource enforcement agency gets word and investigates. Logan would risk everything to protect his mother, but good intentions can only get him so far.
